During the recent Spring, i had a chance to go to Manchester. Hmm to be frank, nothing specific brought me here. But since dah sampai England, i guess why not spend some days here. I travelled by Virgin Trains from London Euston station straight non-stop to Manchester Picadilly station. The journey took almost 2 hours.Very relaxing and the cabin facilities are so convenient. That’s one thing that i like about Europe country as the public transportation is yet very efficient for the publics.Once arrived at Manchester Picadilly station,Afni (who was my junior back in school) picked me up at the station and she managed to show me around the city and taught me the bus system in Manchester. But before that, she brought me to this one halal restaurant belonged to a Middle East Muslims people to eat this big huge portion of Arab Rice. And tell you what, the food is sooo yummylicious and cheap too.I think bout GBP4 for one plate. And since the portion is huge,we decided to share between us two. And tell you what, dah share pun tak larat nak habiskan. LOL! At last,we decided to pack the leftover home. Hehe! And ya, forgot to tell that for all 3 days i was in Manchester the weather wasn’t that good. It was all gloomy, the skies were all grey and quite cold too(typical weather of England,i guess). Afni brought me to the classic Old Trafford Manchester United Stadium and later to the Trafford Centre to do some shopping. Compared to London, Manchester isn’t that big. I mean, you can even finish tour the whole city in one day but since i had another two extra days, i decided to divide it into a few day slots so that i wont get bored too fast. Hehe. Well, for the next two days i just wander around the city alone by myself..captured some pics and on the last day before heading back to London, i managed to join the MUFC Old Trafford Stadium Tour. Well, frankly speaking i used to be a MU fan last time but that was only when David Beckham was in the team(pls dont ask me why i adore that guy ya?!Hehe). After Ferguson sold him to Real Madrid, the interest has faded away and starting from that time, i rarely watched any football games anymore. Anyhow, i do really think that MU still among the best football club in the world!!GlORY GLORY MAN UNITED!!
Alrite peeps,enjoy the pics!

This is Afni, live and study and Manchester for more than 4 years but never once step her foot to this ‘keramat’ stadium. Here she is marking her presence in front of the MU stadium..at last!!! Hehe.
Afni sipping her coffee at The Trafford Shopping Centre. The interior design of this shopping complex is almost similar like Alamanda (no kidding!!)

Some street scenes of Manchester city….

An artist painting his canvas at Manchester city.

He actually doing this to collect some funds for his art work exhibition actually. People who passed by may donate some money for him if they think his artwork is worthy. And ya to be frank, by looking at his painting, this man is indeed a very talented artist. As you may see from the sticky note on the top left of his canvas,it says ” Working towards exhibition : your coins help me buy paints and canvas.TQ”.
